A global approach for healthy pets

General information

At Vet Ethology, we offer integrative veterinary medicine as a global approach to your pet's health. Our practice has the necessary facilities for both traditional and complementary treatments. Curious about our veterinarians? More about us

Why?

Our integrative approach combines conventional medical techniques with complementary therapies aimed at optimising the health and welfare of your pet. We believe in a global approach that considers both physical and emotional aspects of animal health.

What can you expect?

During an integrative veterinary medicine consultation, 1 of our veterinarians will conduct a thorough evaluation, considering both traditional diagnostics and complementary therapies. Expect a tailored treatment plan that promotes your pet's health through integrated and targeted approaches. We aim for a balanced combination of scientifically proven methods and complementary treatments to provide the best possible care. If more specific follow-up is needed, you will be referred to other veterinary specialists.

Titer testing and vaccination for dogs, cats and horses

Are you familiar with titration for your pet? Titration allows you to assess essential vaccinations by measuring your pet's immune level. With this information, we can work together to create a tailored vaccination plan for your pet.

We offer titration and vaccination for dogs, cats and horses. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.

“A few weeks ago we tried titer testing for the first time with Vet Ethology. A titer test measures the antibodies in the blood to determine whether a dog has immunity to various diseases. Titer tests help us ensure that our dogs are protected against dangerous diseases while avoiding over-vaccination, which can cause as many problems as the diseases themselves! It’s all about finding the right balance It was a fascinating process and I hope titer testing will become common practice!” Elissa Cotter / Heart and Soul
“Our cats truly feel comfortable with Anouck, and so do we. She takes the time to assess the animals and follows their pace, which means no stress when going to the vet with us. Anouck also provides valuable advice on behavior, diet, and more. She's a real asset for our four-legged friends.” Kristel Jennes
“My mare was lucky enough to meet Dr Haverbeke and Dr Robert after we returned from the UK. Dr Haverbeke took the time to study the UK tests and listen to our concerns to come up with an effective plan of action. Dr Robert provided outstanding support when my mare contracted Lyme disease. I would recommend both vets for their professionalism and innovative, respectful approach.” Sabine Bordon
“Respect, knowledge, and a warm personality – that's Vet Ethology in a nutshell. After my dog Monkey was diagnosed with lymphoma in November 2022, I explored treatment options, including chemotherapy. Despite my initial doubts, I began the treatment, but after two sessions, Monkey couldn't tolerate it. In agreement with my oncologist, I made the decision to discontinue and opted for Oncaspar injections. That's when I found Vet Ethology and met Dr. Anouck Haverbeke. Her care felt like coming home. With her respect for my decisions and thorough approach, I felt at ease. Fast forward to May 15, 2024, and Monkey is healthy, with the cancer in remission. I'm thankful for Anouck's expertise and warm reception. Thank you, Anouck, for everything.” Karin Roelofsma & Monkey
