General information

Our biodiversity project, in partnership with Regionaal Landschap Dijleland (RLD), includes

  • a landscaped horse track with extensive grazing areas
  • natural water sources
  • 2 ponds
  • the planting of more than 2,000 native trees and hedges.

It also provides a diverse environment for horses, supports various animal species and promotes biodiversity.

Why?

Originally designed for the welfare of our horses, this project grew into a passion for conservation. In collaboration with RLD, we strive for valley regeneration, ecological principles and healthy soil without chemical fertilisers. A modest but effective approach to promote harmony between people, animals and nature.

Would you like to get involved in this too?

Individuals: Interested in enhancing biodiversity in your garden? Reach out to Regionaal Landschap Dijleland.

Students: Are you a student in animal behaviour, animal care or secretarial work? Send us your CV and motivation letter in advance by email to info@vetethology.be and we will discuss opportunities to contribute to harmony between humans, animals and nature.
